Our Responsible AI Commitments

Since we started back in 2011, we’ve always carefully considered the impact of all we do on the children, educators, families and communities we work with. As AI technology develops and has become more readily available, Storypark has looked to our vision and values to define a set of responsible AI use commitments.
We commit to a collaborative and community-centric approach
By working with educators and their communities, we ensure that our AI tools are practical, effective, and aligned with the needs of the early childhood education sector. Through this two-way approach we aim to empower and inspire educators in all that they do!

We have high regard for each educator’s professional intuition and autonomy. We see AI as a complimentary partner.
We commit to supporting quality practice
We are excited by the possibilities of any technology that can save time and create efficiencies for educators. We see beyond the hype, Storypark's use of AI is done in a thoughtful manner, supporting quality practice in early childhood education.

AI generated work can always be reviewed, edited and adjusted by educators.
We commit to openness and honesty
We will always let you know when AI is present within Storypark and how it can be used.

We acknowledge the limitations and challenges regarding AI now and in the future.

We actively seek feedback from educators, experts, and the broader community, and we value their insights as we refine our practices and technologies.
We commit to protecting your privacy, security and data
Storypark takes the privacy and security of your data seriously. We commit to complying with any Government regulations in this space, in addition to our already high privacy standards as set out in our Privacy Policy.

We will actively work to get rid of unfair biases in data and our algorithms that might negatively affect educators or children.

Our proactive stance ensures that our AI solutions are safe, secure, and beneficial for all.
